Work Update

Well, we are settling in to the new routine. It is exhausting. The steady paycheck is nice though. I find myself wondering how families do it all. Especially single parent families. I know it would be at least twice as hard it if weren't for my exceptional fathers. The one here on Earth and the one up in Heaven.

I think Papa is enjoying his time with the girls. I know they are enjoying their time with him. Jasmine is already wanting "Papa do it." They also mess up and call me Papa Mama. As I'm sure they call him Mama Papa.

The job is good. I like what I'm doing. The challenge is keeping all of the "chiefs" happy. I'm learning alot about banking and I think it is a good experience.

My plan was to go back to school and get a BS in Nursing, but it looks like that will be a ways off. Either Spring or Fall of 2009. So, I'm not sure that's what God has in his plans for me. We'll just have to wait and see.

It looks like Lily may not be able to go back to DLS next year for 1st grade. I applied for Financial Aid but I don't think the aid they awarded will be enough to make it work. Total Bummer. It would be nice if her father would help offset the cost.

Still no support from Jasmine's father. He did however request genetic testing 2 days before our set court date. Nice. So I'm still waiting.

Until next time...

It's Been Awhile

I know...I know...I'm not so good at posting. But, I can't say too much has happened around here lately. I do have a small bit of news....I am now gainfully employed. I hate it, but I had no other choice. I thought I had found a good "job" that I could do from home, but it turned out to be a scam. As the police put it a "Nigerian Scam". Bummer.

So, I start my new job tomorrow. My Dad, as usual, is stepping up to the plate and will be helping out immensely. He'll be keeping Jasmine and picking Lily up from school everyday.

I also decided to go back to school to get my BSN and become a Registered Nurse. I figure that will pay the most for the amount of hours. And it should be quite flexible. I've already taken the entrance exam and passed with a 90%. That was a relief. Now I'm just waiting for my acceptance to KSU and then I still have to apply to the Nursing School.

Wish me luck with my "new" work schedule.
